After a fun filled Price family Christmas, we headed south to Springfield for Christmas with the Lootens!
Since we didn’t get to make our normal Christmas shopping trip to Silver Dollar City in November, we headed there on Thursday to enjoy the Christmas lights! Nobody does Christmas like Silver Dollar City! It was pretty chilly, but we bundled up and enjoyed some hot chocolate, hot wassail, and just enjoyed the lights!
Waiting for the first lighting of the Christmas tree!
Once the tree started, though, A was enthralled…
And, who can blame her, because this is pretty amazing!
After the tree lighting, we headed to the World’s Fair part, where the kid rides are, to watch the light parade and ride some rides!
Audrey and Grandpa Looten, hanging out!
My beautiful girls on the merry-go-round!
Audrey made an important discovery while she was at Grandma & Grandpa’s house… smoked trout is delicious! Dad was making a smoked trout cheeseball and gave her a piece. After that, she just stuck her hand out and ate pieces as fast as he could give them to her. Pretty funny!
Friday, the rest of the crowd started arriving! The Columbia Lootens came in that morning, and the Wilsons got there that night… with 9 adults and 5 kids 4 and under, it was a full (and loud!) house… but we sure had fun!!
Leila and Audrey
Grandpa and the newest Wilson, Kerrigan!
The kids were really at the perfect age for Grandma & Grandpa’s new kids table! It was cute to see them all sitting there…
Laney and Leila
Kael and Audrey… very sweet! Audrey actually did a much better job of being NOT in a high chair than I expected she would!
Wrestle time with Uncle Tim!
Since we had everyone together, we had to had to get a family picture… I forgot my tripod, but it turned out not horrible. 9 adults and 5 small children… I’m just glad we can see everyone’s face (mostly)!
So, that was the Looten Christmas… We headed back to Kentucky on Saturday, Christmas Eve. We were sad to go, but loved getting to see everyone! It was fun to hang out with the family, especially since it was Kerri’s first Christmas, and Mal & Tim are engaged… lots to celebrate!

Great pictures! It's so cool that the girls have cousins so close to their ages. They will have great memories of playing together!
